What are some good recipes for fresh picked tart/sour cherries?

The trees produced a ton of fruit this year. The cherries are smallish (about half the size of store bought cherries), fairly tart and they also have seeds. I hate to have them go to waste but I'm not sure what would be a good recipe to use them in. I'm also not sure how they need to be prepared, other than having the seeds removed, as I've never done anything with fresh cherries before. I'M NOT INTERESTED IN JAM OR JELLY RECIPES because I know no one in my family will eat it. Any other suggestions for preparation or recipe ideas would be great. Thanks in advance for your anwsers.
